Several divisions in bank's IT department
1: Infrastructure
As xiang ling mentioned, there are client (desktop, laptop configuration and software packaging), network (network admin, maintenance), mainframe (OCBC should use mainframe core-banking system), midrange (Unix server maintenance), wintel (windowns server maintenance), end-user support (basic desktop/laptop supports), and potentially telecomm (wireless and fix phone)
2: Application.
There are Application development (AD) and application maintenance (AM) in application division.
3: Customer relationship management
This division is not core and quite important. It usually consists of several relationsihp managers to each business units (BUs). They are responsable for communicating and nogociation IT demand from each BU. In case of outsource, they are also the interface between the bank and outsourcers
