Digital Design Engineer
Job Description:
-Primary activities include specification, analysis, detailed design, verification, synthesis and physical implementation of digital circuits incorporated in mixed signal integrated circuits for MCU products.
-Responsibilities will also include support activities such as behavioral modeling of analog and mixed signal circuits, lab test development and evaluation of engineering samples, and other activities as required for the achievement of full volume production.
Education Requirements:
MSEE or BSEE
Minimum Qualifications:
-Minimum 3 to 8 years design experience digital and/or mixed signal IC.
-Must have good knowledge of digital IC circuit design in an HDL synthesis environment.
-Must be able to calculate parasitic capacitance of interconnect by hand.
-Must be familiar with using a script language.
-Must be familiar with using synthesis and timing tool.
-Must be able to analyze a digital gate using SPICE.
-Some experience using FPGAs for design verification is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Knowledge of embedded controller based designs.
-Experience in mixed signal design.
