SyncTec is a Singaporean/ German information technology startup company that operates from Singapore and Germany. SyncTec’s specialization is in the development of systems and processes for advanced Resource Planning and Resource Control. The beneficiaries of SyncTec’s applications are companies, where resource planning and control is critical for the business. Typically these are airlines, railways and freight forwarders as well as companies from the logistics, engineering services, high tech production and construction industry.

The current focus at SyncTec is the development of an electronic communication, coordination and cooperation platform, which supports the planning, execution, control and optimization of industrial business processes. Requirements

Technical

Must have

-Good knowledge of Object Oriented Programming, Object Oriented Design and UML
-Practical experiences with an OO programming language, preferably either in Java or in MS Visual Studio C#.
-Good knowledge of SQL, XML, database design and O-R modeling.
-Good knowledge of Software Engineering Life Cycle: Specification, Modeling, Testing and Maintenance.
-Basic knowledge about the Windows OS

Good to have

-Development experiences with Visual Studio .NET, especially with VS C#
-Pocket PC development experiences and knowledge of the .NET Compact Framework
-Knowledge of HTML and JavaScript.
-Experiences with the development of web applications with ASP.NET
-Knowledge and experience in user interface design
-Knowledge of the following software development packages: LLBLGen, Infragistics NETAdvantage, MS-SQL and PDFlib

Job Offer

SyncTec is currently looking for part time and full time software engineer

Part Time Developers

-The typical part time software engineer is a Computer Science student (BSc, MSc or PhD) who wants to start a career in the IT industry and is looking for first experiences with industrial projects.

-Part time software engineers will work on a project by project basis. For each project, the goals, deliverables and deadlines are negotiated with the project manager.

-Part time software engineers who have worked successfully with SyncTec on a number of projects can be offered a full time job.

-Salary: the current hourly rate varies between S$12 – S$16 depending on the skills of the candidate.

-The annual salary increase for part time software engineers ranges between 10-20%.


Full Time Developers

-A full time software engineers usually starts his career as part time software engineers, and gets promoted and offered a full time job after a number of successful projects.

-Exceptional candidates can be offered a full time job after a minimum of 1 month successful collaboration.

-Salary: negotiable. Can be significantly higher than the market rate for good candidates. We pay for abilities.
