A research fellow position is open for a research and development project in the
field of Grid computing, computational intelligence and engineering design optimization.
The successful candidate will be involved in research and development in the areas of Grid-enabled
optimization, memetic algorithms and neural networks with applications to
complex engineering and design. He/she will also be responsible in coordinating the
development effort of research students, project officers, and manages
demonstration prototypes.
Applicants for the position should satisfy the following requirement.
1. A PhD degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or a related discipline.
2. Able to perform independent research work.
3. Good Knowledge in distributed parallel computing, Grid computing, optimization, and
evolutionary computation will be an advantage.
