Product Manager

Job Description
1. Conceive of product ideas to improve user experience with online gaming platform and to increase user interaction in online gaming community;
2. Design intuitive user process flows and product (web application & client application) layouts to improve usability of the products and to lower the entry barrier for first time users;
3. Write specifications, prioritize features, build consensus and co-ordinate the product development, testing and LIVE deployment with engineers, operation executives, customer service officers and etc;
4. Integrate usability studies, research and market analysis into product requirements to ensure products satisfy customer needs;
5. Design and follow up on key performance measurement matrix of the product, collect user feedback and optimize the product through feature enhancement and operation flow improvement;
6. Lead online and offline promotion activities for the product to acquire new users, retain existing users and to increase the daily average number of hours a typical user spends on the product;

Requirements

1. 3-5 years of experience with internet products design, development and operation;
2. Reasonably strong technically, capable of working closely with engineers;
3. Excellent in communication skills, verbally and in writing;
4. Strong skill in gathering requirements, organizing resources, scheduling jobs and managing project risk;
5. Capable of making decisions between compromising user experience and real technical constraint;
6. Meticulous with details;
7. Able to work effectively in a team and perform under pressure;
8. Passion for PC gaming is a plus;



Senior Operation Executive – Online Community

Job Description
1. Community Relations & Feedback
Create strong bond, stickiness and loyalty from community;
Collect constructive feedback from community and directing them to the relevant department;
Provide regular update and keep the community hype up with things happening around or coming to Garena;

2. Community Staff Management
Manage and ensure that all community staffs (moderator, news editors, other volunteers) are well motivated and works well together as a team;
Brainstorming with community staffs and come up with ideas and plans, then delegate responsibilities or assignments to community staffs;
Community staff recruitment and assess community staff performance;
Set up an incentive program (monthly bonus, special rewards, etc) and award staffs based on the criteria set and individual/team performance;

3. Community Activities & Forum Management
Sets up the basic rules and general guidelines for the forum, volunteer moderators, community activities and etc;
Forum backend system operation (setting up forums, granting rights to moderators for a specific forum, etc);
Conceptualize and initiate events and other gimmicks in the community to drive up activity and entice members to visit regularly;

4. Affiliate with other websites/community
Proactively looking for other community to cooperate with;
Keep close relationship with community partners/affiliates and provide them update on Garena news, events, etc to be posted on their websites

Requirements

1. 3-5 years of experience in online community management & operation;
2. Excellent communication skills, verbally and in writing;
3. Excellent people management skill;
4. Patient;
5. Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks, willingness to take late night shift when required;
6. Strong skills in analytical skills, capable of synthesizing user feedbacks;
7. Passionate about PC gaming;
8. Good technical knowledge of internet products is a plus;
