Post-doctoral Fellow: Molecular Biology

Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position to study the role of kinases and phosphatases in the regulation of stem cell behavior in the course of tumorigenesis (cancer stem cells) and ageing. The primary emphasis is on Wip1 phosphatase and p38MAP kinase. The research will involve advanced methods in molecular and cell biology, and mouse genetics.
Requirements:
- A strong background in Molecular Biology
- Demonstrated technical independence with molecular and cell biology techniques
- Ability to take initiative, work independently, and motivated to work in a highly collaborative and international research environment
- Familiar with mouse genetics and stem cell research would be a plus
- A good publication record in recognized peer-reviewed journals will be highly advantageous
