In-Fusion 2008, the international fiesta showcasing the diverse cultures and talents of the NUS local and international community, is back! The fiesta will be from 29 Jan to 1 Feb 2008 and it promises to be buzzing with fun-filled activities and events facilitating integration and cross-cultural exchanges.

THE MENU
THE STARTER:
The In-Fusion 2008 team is currently working on a calendar, Flavors of NUS, which will help to kick start the fiesta. Contribute to the calendar and start to feel the In-Fusion buzz.
THE MAIN COURSE:
“From Plate to Palate!” Recipe Competition
Follow this recipe!
Ingredients:
1 local recipe of your home country
1 camera
Directions:
Cook your dish according to your recipe.
While it’s cooking (not burning), write a paragraph explaining the story behind your dish! (Not more than 100 words)
Exercise restraint and take 3 photographs of the dish (from top, left, and right) with a camera before diving in.

Rules & Regulations:
This competition is open to all NUS students and staff (except staff from ROSA, Counselling Centre and In-Fusion 2008 Executive Committee members and Managers/Heads of the Organising Committee).
Recipe and write-up must be in word document.
Photographs submitted must be in 8-bit JPEG format in RGB Colour with minimal compression and at least 300 dpi.
Only colour digital images, scanned images of film or slides are allowed.
Each participant must submit 3 photos per dish.
Minimal digital manipulation (e.g. Colour enhancement, cropping) is allowed. However, adding or removing key elements of the composition is strongly discouraged and may not be accepted for judging.
All entries must be original work. Copying from any other sources will result in disqualification.
The participant must be the author of each write-ups and photograph submitted for “Flavours of NUS” calendar.
Entries will be considered based on dish uniqueness, originality and relevance to the theme for “Flavours of NUS”.
The winning entry may not necessarily be used in their exact form. OSA reserves the right to make any modifications and adaptations to the winning photographs to meet the department's requirements and uses.
By submitting the entries, all participants will be deemed to have assigned to OSA the copyrights to their submission, including the right of reproduction in any form. OSA reserves the sole copyrights to the winning entries.
