Job Title : Helpdesk Specialist
Roles : Essentially to deliver support to end users in the organization about how to use various types of software programs efficiently and effectively in fulfilling business objectives. This includes troubleshooting applications and software’s for all internal customers, such as operations, development, and other business units.
Responsibilities:
Responds to inquiries and requests for assistance with the organization’s computer systems, applications, or PC’s over the phone, email and instant messaging platform
Identifies problems, troubleshoots and provides advice to assist users
Coordinates with other IS areas to resolve problems if necessary
Be the Applications expert to support several applications to several Groups of Users
Assist the Support Manager in improving the process of providing Users-care support.
Requirements:
Min Diploma/Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology with at least 1 year experience in IT Call Center/Helpdesk or Applications Support Specialist
Good analytical skills in solving PC application problems
Basic/Intermediate working knowledge, networking on Windows platform, Web/Shell programming and Firewall experience will be advantageous
Fresh Graduates with good networking knowledge are also welcome to apply
Proficiency in MS-Office applications
Self motivated & pleasant personality
Excellent interpersonal and communicative skills
Possess good judgment, negotiation and interpersonal skills
Persistent, willing to go the extra mile to satisfy the customers’ need
Working Hours (subject to change):
On Rotational shift
44 hours per week or 88 hours per fortnightly
Employment term: Contract based (yearly renewable)
