As an international e-commerce company, our finance department located in mainland Europe. Because of this, some banks treat local purchases as an overseas transaction and charge a fee out of the total transaction.

As mentioned, our finance department is in mainland Europe and thus 'ch' is a code stands for Switzerland and not China. CH stand for Confoederatio Helvetica, Switzerland's official latin name; Cantons: Switzerland's federal states.
This transaction fee is charged by the bank for processing an overseas transaction, this is similar to using your credit card while overseas. As the additional charges are not pre-determined and different banks have different policies and it varies, hence we do not have a control of that and not able to cover that area in our fine print as well.
Thus the extra charges is incurred by the bank.
May I assure you that the amount you pay to Groupon is as stated on the deal and nothing more.
To avoid any further transactional fee in your future purchases, I would encourage you avoid using credits cards issued by:

大家付款的时候留意一下吧。。。就觉得有些荒谬。。DBS POSB UOB的卡居然都有手续费。。。paypal居然还能解决这问题。。
