工作内容： You will be the group head with both disciplinary and technical responsibilities of a Station Software team (4 people) in the line of R&D development organization. Your key role is to establish and manage the software developers to develop, localize and sustain the software of the client's production systems. You will also provide strong support to the project management with the resources to conduct projects in the area of machine software development. Proven track records in machine automation projects, C++ programming skills and effective leadership skills are required for this position.

Technical Functions:
* Act as the first point of contact and technical advisor in the area of Machine Control Software development. * Act as a SW Project Lead to provide the support to overall project management throughout the development phases (defining SW work packages, iteration planning, resource planning, risk assessment and etc). * Develop team ramp-up plan to improve technical competencies and be able to take over major SW development activities and sustain certain product line in Singapore. * Maintain a high level of technical expertise among the staff with respect to the holistic development of the SIPLACE production systems taking into account:
* The engineering process * The architecture of the mechanical elements, the hardware and the software * State-of-the-art hardware and software technologies * Methods used for system specification and system validation (calculation, simulation, etc) * Modern programming languages and programming methodologies * Test procedures and procedures for qualification of SIPLACE systems
* Ensure the future viability of technology by identifying and assessing relevant trends and initiating new concepts and solutions. * Establish the Agile process for the group.
Staff Management:
* Establish good, productive and skillful team. * Create an open, motivating and creative work environment. * Promote cross-department collaboration. * Assess and further develop staff capabilities. * Performance assessment of the staff. * Moderate and resolve team conflicts.
Provision of the Development Infrastructure:
* Exercise responsibility for basic technical decisions aligned with overall development needs, for instance development tools, programming languages, configuration management, simulation tools etc. * Ongoing optimization of the development process with the objective of achieving optimum results by balancing between conflicting demands of schedule, functionality, quality and cost
经验要求：
A good Degree/Master/PhD in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering. Minimum 5 years in managerial/team lead role, managing more than 5 people. Minimum 5 years experience in managing major HW+SW projects i.e. Computer Control and Automation projects.需要在以往项目中实现过I/O, 或camera, 或motor, 或sensor的控制。 Sound knowledge of the SMD Placement/Printer machines and their operations as well as process would be advantageous. In-depth knowledge of current hardware and software technologies. In-depth knowledge of current engineering methods, design patterns and testing. In-depth knowledge of C++ programming languages and SW development paradigms would be advantageous. Sound knowledge of used SW development tools (Visual Studio, TFS, ClearCase and etc). Experience in software development with Agile process. Well-developed team working skills, including with developers in other global locations. Willingness to accept responsibility. Be able to travel abroad for business trip. Proficient in written and spoken English.



Able to speak fluent Mandarin would be advantageous (to liaise with Chinese speaking associates)
