Research Assistant (10 month contract)
Responsibilities:
Write program scripts for data collection
Clean and validate collected data
Conduct data analyses and literature survey
Maintain data server and database regularly
Explore new applications that facilitate big data analytics
Assist model estimation with statistic software
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in the fields of computer science, computer engineering, information systems, mathematics, statistics, or economics.
Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: C, Java, Python, or Ruby.
Experience with data analysis applications such as SAS, Stata, R, or Matlab.
Familiar with database management and SQL
Good communication skills and professionalism
