Dear all, please note the below latest ruling from HDB / MND today (informed to us by a developer, will update if there are any changes):

Please take note of the revised Minimum Occupation Period (MOP) for owners of non-subsidised flats to buy uncompleted EC units.

1. The Ministry (ND) has approved that *owners of non-subsidised flats will have to occupy their flats for at least 5 years before they may apply* for a new flat from the HDB or an EC unit from the property developer.

2. This is *with immediate effect* (i.e. for Options issued from 12 Feb 2019 onwards).

不太了解二手非津贴的意思
那要是买了二手并且申请了津贴呢？这个政策目的是啥？

以前是resale hdb 不拿grant的话
只要新bto/ec 那钥匙的时候满mop就好了，所以resale hdb 买了一年多后就可以申请bto啦。

从今年二月买的二手开始，还是今年二月准备买bto或者新的ec开始？

我本来后悔没有买resaleHDB，就是觉得
错过了一手EC的机会。这个条例一出，很多一样情况的人还会考虑resale吗？8年太久了真等不起。即使卖掉公寓也才等30个月就可以申请了，远少过5年啊，当然房租是一个考量。
