Customer is not protected if the company is bankrupted?

I signed a wedding album package with a company in year 2006. The contract is valid in 5 years for services, no refund is allowed. However, in year 2008, this company was closed due to the boss made some fake profile for himself. Few weeks ago, I contacted his employees i met before, they have tried small court for their salaries, but the boss just disappeared and never return money to them. I was advised that turning to CASE is not useful at all, save the effort.

My question are
1. my contract will expire in 10 months. If the boss is still in bankrupcy, I can never get refund, right? My case is really hopeless? If I log a case, if someday this guy is able to repay his debt, am i still able to get refunded?

2. I saw many similar cases in TV, like spa packages. So, can I say Singapore's law protect company more? what If i set up a company, collect a lot of money and then declare my company is bankrupted? It is so easy to be rich....

you have to verify whether it is the boss boss or the company in bankrupcy
your contract is signed with the company.

So you have to proof it is the director's wrongdoing that damaged the contract if you want to go for the person.

Otherwise you might join in the queue of creditors, however, my guess is that the chance of you getting back some money is very low.

1\Is the contract signed with the boss or company? If with the boss, then you can kiss your money goodbye. But if with the company, you can still pursue.
2\At the moment the protection is inadequate. If you have ideas like that, do it quickly. ^_^
