That is one of the reasons why people like to go top business schools, not for academic exposure, but rather for networking with other people who can make their way into the top business schools. =)
that's right. Here is an explaination i got from another friend
there are slightly different streams under MBA like marketing, mgt, finance, etc as students typically choose more modules in the area which they want to exposure. it's reasonabe to say "finance" skills will be more important to a MBA specialized in finance area than to one speicialized in other area.
interestingly, my boss did tell me that "network" is crucial in career development. Maybe i can assume he had had good network before his MBA. :P
