Position: production support personnel
Number of positions: 2

The skill requirements are:

Good written and spoken English skills
Good communication skills - by this I mean has a good understanding of whom to notify under what circumstances.
Willingness to work shifts (including working during U.S. office hours); personnel may be paged during off office hours.
Very good Unix skills
Very good troubleshooting skills
Years of experience: 1-2 years; but open to fresh grads(1st class or 2nd upper) too
Knowledge and skills on WAS administration (Mandatory)
Knowledge and skills on DB2 administration (Mandatory)
Knowledge and skills on MQ Series administration (Plus)

Job scope

Monitor scheduled and adhoc jobs, ensure jobs kick off and finish on time.
Schedule and restart jobs when needed
Execute financial feeds on time required by business
Monitoring Unix machine disk space usage
Apply Unix changes requested by developers
Effectively communicate issues to team, user community and proper parties in a timely fashion
Document all issues and share the explanations and the solutions with the Operations team
Obtain good working knowledge of area of responsibilities by becoming more familiar with business and technical requirements and processes
Take ownership and be responsible with assigned tasks. Be accountable for results.
Ensure quality of execution
Willing to work flexible hours for backfilling teammates and other business need
