positions for software engineer

My boss asked me to help find some software engineers for our company (an European comsumer electronics R&D company). If you have at least 2 year working experience in TV/video processing field and meet the following requirements, may consider the position. The benefits will be generous.


1. R&D Software Design Engineer


The Job:

Research, design and develop TV software for existing and new TV technology
Design, develop and debug software according to customer’s requirements
Analyze, debug and troubleshoot customers’ enquiries
Produce and maintain documented specifications for software design and customer porting guide
Support R&D division in the continual process and procedure development
Create new core software platforms

Requirements:

Minimum Bachelor in Electronics Engineering/ Computer Science
At least 4 years experience in design and development of embedded system software design
Knowledge of C/ Assembly languages essential
Set Top Box/ TV design experience
Software version control tool familiarity
Fluency in English and Mandarin essential, with Japanese and/ or Korean an advantage
Able to maintain own task schedules
Self-motivated team player
Frequent travelling may be expected
Object oriented design methodology
RTOS knowledge
Electrical knowledge advantageous
LINUX experience advantageous


2. Customer Support Engineer


The Job:

Primary role as software developer for TV products
Customise in-house reference design to adapt to customer's requests
Co-ordinate customer's design to production level
Analyze, debug and troubleshoot customers' enquiries
Perform R&D extension support role during busy design stages
Produce and maintain documented specifications for software design and customer porting guide
Assist customer with on-site support
Support R&D division in the continual process and procedure development

Requirements:

Bachelor in Electronics Engineering/ Computer Science
At least 2 years experience in design and development of embedded system software design
Knowledge of C/ Assembly languages essential
Set Top Box/ TV design experience advantageous
Software version control tool familiarity
Fluency in English and Mandarin essential, with Japanese and/ or Korean an advantage
Able to maintain own task schedules
Frequent travelling may be expected

Electrical knowledge advantageous
