looking for software development engineer with experience in Java/C/VB/HTML. (Java最重要)
Knows Chinese (read, write & speak) will be a big plus.

现在对刚毕业的也招
薪水:因人而异,大约$2800
offer性质:先6个月contract,performance ok 就给perm,不ok再给6个月contract,过了一年一般所有人都perm了,除了南郭先生。

Perform tape library duties, ensure tapes and media handled in the most efficient and manner.

Key responsibilities :
01. Manages tapes storage and movement.
02. Performs routine tasks on tapes registration, movement, storage and disposal.
03. Handles and prepares tapes to be sent offsite.
04. Ensure tape handling and management is as per control process and procedure documented.
05. Perform scheduled task and ensure completeness and timeliness. Follow strictly all requirements of the daily tape handling activities.
06. Assist Operation staff on handling of tapes for processing.
07. Adhere to Data Centre rules and guidelines established.
08. Ensure physical security procedures are followed strictly
09. Fulfill administrative reporting requirements.
10. Ensure tidiness in the Tape Library and Data Centre.
11. Ensure proper reports distribution.
12. Assist IBM Management to maintain acceptable audit rating.
13. Need to support customer’s remote sites

1 year extendable contract on IBM predominant supplier
PC knowledge, eTOC (tape management software)
Normal 0900 to 1800 hrs (Mon to Fri)

薪水:因人而异,毕业起薪大约$2800
offer性质:先6个月contract,然后是续contract还是给perm要看表现。实话实说的是里面有挺多一直续contract的员工,要升去perm的几率比前一个招聘公司Gemalto要小,不过对喜欢股票证券的朋友还是有一点点的吸引力,另外老板是中国哥们。

题外话为何会存在大量contract,和perm到底有啥不一样,本版的IT高手已经解释很多了,大量公司都存在大量的contract,为的是控制cost,因为公司业绩再好也不用发奖金。所以过来人倒不在乎contract,而是如果在contract上很久别人升上perm我升不上说明这份工不合适我,应换。当然银行不同,大银行的IT部如果不往上升上manager去,那么每年只是加薪变得更senior,但永远是contract。(个别的案例除外,大家就不要跟俺较劲了)
