问：有没有人加入今年的H1B大军？

运气不好，去年44.4%的中奖几率都没进。今年有没有申请H1B的同行？你们的感觉形势如何？

个人的一点点看法：
1）申请人数减少：受美国经济和美国的保护主义的影响，雇主会优先考虑本地人的就业，从海外找人的机会就会减少。分母小了，几率自然就大了。如果几率增大，为什么不今年申请？
2）申请人数增加：大家都这么些想，那就麻烦了，比往年还差:)

拿到个加州的Offer，还在犹豫中。望有识之士指点迷津。

May I know what is the general procedure of getting H1B. Do you have to secure a job first before applying for it. But it sounds rather infeasible to me because there is no reason for the company to hire you without a visa?\

I am interested in getting a H1B maybe after 3 years of graduation. I know a little bit about H1B.

Offer 1st, then H1B...
1) Got job offer from US employer through tele or personal interview.
2) Employer files H1B for you free of charge, bearing all the risk.
3) H1B gets selected in lottery, go to Singapore US embassy for interview.
4) Fly to US and leave this damn country.
5) Live happily in US...
