During the reporting period, prices for the Group’s key raw materials such as natural rubber and PET chips rose by approximately 45% to 85%, against a recovering PRC economy coupled with a global shortage in these raw materials. Key raw material prices saw a sharp increase in the first quarter of 2010, compared to the same quarter of 2009 when raw material prices hit bottom.
