but grassroots path is generally taking more time and effort - you may need to stay as member after your kid is enrolled.
if you have your intention known, other grassroot leaders may look at you as outsider. school volunteer jobs are directly linked to school you eye on and your kid might enroll in the future while servicing pa might be not so close to your heart
however, to be selected as school volunteers is generally more difficult nowadays
so you may not have options to choose at the end of day
