A hedge fund based in Singapore is looking for a Quantitative Analyst to help implement and develop their electronic trading strategies. Initially, this work will involve some hardware management and network development, deploying our global trading infrastructure and assisting in our upcoming office move. Given the candidate’s success, this role will evolve into a junior trader. Responsibilities will include operating our automated trading strategies, analyzing their performance, and contributing to their improvement. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic, global trading operation as its proven successes gain greater momentum and international recognition.
In addition to creativity, determination, and outstanding intelligence, qualified candidates will possess at least the following:
* Undergraduate degree in a quantitative discipline and 2 years of relevant work experience.
* Experience in both Windows and Unix system administration
* Experience in network configuration and troubleshooting
* Working knowledge of TCP/IP, Active Directory and Domain policies, VPN and firewall configuration, implementation of backup and recovery procedures
* Scripting experience in one or more of: Windows PowerShell, Python, bash/csh/zsh, VBScript
* Development experience in C/C++/C#
