Dear Agony Uncle, I really need your help and assistance urgently. As a Chinese male who is working in Spore since last September, I was charged with “using criminal force against public service sec353 cap224’. Currently I have been bailed by a PR friend. Below is the detailed information.

On 3rd FEB, I felt hungry and left my home heading for a 7-11 shop nearby at around 1030PM. I entered into the 7-11 and found there are 2 staff in counter and they were doing the shift. So I took my time selecting items in the shop, after around 7 minutes, I paid my bill and walked out of the 7-11. During this period, I was listening to my MP3 player with earphones in my both ears and the voice was very loud. As the while I walked out of the 7-11, several people with normal addressing rushed to me and one of them flashed an ID card to me but I could not hear anything and I had no time to see the ID card. I felt very unsafe and afraid, I took off my earphones and heard a stern voice said: have a seat there! I thought I was robbed and I tried to turn around to get away, but they suddendly put me down and lock my hands with handcuff. Meanwhile, my bag was taken by them. I thought I was definitely robbed.
They took me to the corner of latest HDB and verified if I stealed sth from the 7-11, the result was false since I did pay the bill of my items. Till then I knew they were police officers and I was not rubbed. The 4 guys took me to a police car and sent me to police station. But I was quite confused why none of the 4 guys wear the police uniform.

Next day around 1120, after my staying in the police station for 10 hours, I made my statement with a police officer in the station. 2 of 4 police officers who put me down said I ‘pushed’ them before they put me down. So I was charged with “using criminal force against public service sec353 cap224’. Actually I was totally overwhelmed, feeling so unsafe and afraid in that moment, I can not remember what I did to try to get myself out of the dangerous situation.

Besides,
1> I never saw a police ID before.
2> I was listening to my MP3 players and I can not hear anything during his showing me the ID. And they did not noticed and required me to take off my mp3 player before they talked to me.
3> I never knew the police officers could do their jobs without uniform.
4> I definitely thought I was robbed until they pushed to the corner to check with 7-11 staff whether I stealed sth from the shop.
5> The time from my walking out of 7-11 to my being put down and with hands locked with handcuff is only around 20 seconds, I really had no time to react.
6> After my knowing they are real police officers, I had been cooperative and I believe if I knew they were police officers earlier, for example, one of the 4 guys weared police uniform, the whole thing would not happen at all.

Of course, I felt sorry for my pushing 2 officers if this was true since I can not remember this point at all. Now I have been bailed and the case is under investigating. After 2 weeks, 18 FEB, I need go to collect the report from police station with my friend who bailed me out. Besides, the police officer said I would probably need not go to court.

Here, I want to advise,
1> What is the procedure of following step regarding this case?
2> is there anything I can do to prevent this case from recording into my criminal database? Since I though I was quite innocent on the whole thing.
3> If this case would be recorded into my database without going to the court, do I still have chance to appeal?
