地铁滨海市区线首６地铁站 有望明年底运行（转）
地铁滨海市区线（Downtown Line）的首6个地铁站有望在明年底投入服务。到时，牛车水将迎来它的首个地下购物商场。
这个地下购物商场将建在长200公尺的连道上，衔接牛车水地铁站和直落亚逸地铁站，并拥有超过3万平方英尺的零售业空间，也就是相等于半个城市连道商场（CityLink Mall）的面积。
其中4个站 衔接现有地铁线 日后，如果附近的商业建筑如City Square Central有需要，也可与该连道衔接。
值得一提的是，其中4个站：牛车水站、海湾舫站（Bayfront）、宝门廊站（Promenade）以及武吉士地铁站，将衔接现有的地铁线；直落亚逸站（Telok Ayer）和市中心站（Downtown）将处在旧的和新的金融区。
