The dress style in Singapore is rather casual. Short skirts and T-shirts seem to be the order of the day. But wait! This does not apply to attire in court, especially if you are a party, a witness or the accused.

For guys it is long sleeve shirt and ties with dress shoes though ties and jacket would be a plus. For girls definitely no mini-shorts, tank tops, or spaghetti straps, no slippers and flip flops. Look on the bright side if your dress up beside being presentable and scoring a few brownie points you have the added advantage of keeping yourself warm in the air-conditioned court which could present some very low temperature.
