Oracle Application DBA

Tasks & Responsibilities:
1.Administration and management of Oracle Applications 11i environment
2.Monitor performance of Oracle applications and databases and tune as appropriate
3.Clone Oracle Apps 11i environments
4.Research and apply patches to Oracle applications and databases
5.Provide technical DBA support to the application developers and business super users
6.Troubleshoot problems related to Oracle database and Oracle Applications
7.Perform root cause analysis of difficult problems and their solutions
8.Support the TAR process and document problem resolution

Qualifications & Requirements:

1.Knowledge and experience (4+years) in Oracle Application 11i Database Administration
2.Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related area of study required
Oracle DBA skills / experience
3.Profound Understanding of UNIX System architecture and commands
4.Working knowledge of SQL programming
5.Effective verbal and written English communication skills
6.Ability to work on an international team
7.Oracle DBA certification preferred.
8.ERP experience preferred
9.High English/Japanese proficiency preferred
10.Ability to quickly learn new, complex technologies
11.Ability to prioritize and demonstrate time management skills

Oracle Consultant – Technical

Tasks & Responsibilities:
1.Offshore Technical support for Oracle application 11i Oracle SCM (Manufacturing / Distribution) / Financial / iProcurement / iSupplier / iStore modules
2.Managing Change Requests, Configuration Management
3.Support of interfaces, scheduled jobs
4.Develop enhancements for Interfaces, forms and reports of Oracle Apps modules based on User Requirement using following platforms: Alerts, Oracle Apps Sys admin (including Concurrent Program Definitions), Developer 2000 – Forms and Reports, PL/SQL and SQL Loader, Open Interfaces (API’s)
5.TAR Resolution for Bugs reported
6.Support Oracle Applications upgrade
7.Close communicating with functional resources as well as onsite resources to make deliverables
8.Technical documentation and appendices for any additions/changes to existing Oracle 11i solution
Qualifications & Requirements:
1.Bachelor degree or equivalent in IT related with PL/SQL knowledge
2.1~5 years working experience
3.Proficiency in English language
