Overview of the Position



You will develop, implement and maintain our existing web-based e-Business applications to support and facilitate business processes with customers.



You will work with our support and business partners to trouble-shoot reported issues in the system and provide appropriate solutions. As a specialist, you will be consulted by our business partners on development requirements. Over time, you are also expected to provide accurate estimates of development efforts and practical work solutions so as to support our business partners in meeting their business objectives.



In this role, you will be required to balance between complying with specifications and having a positive mindset to explore feasible alternatives.



Qualifications - Professional Skills & Competences

You have a Degree in Computer Science and at least 3 - 5 years experience in J2EE Architectural and 3-tier architectural development. You should also have a strong knowledge as well as hands-on experience in Java programming, JSP, EJB, JDBC, Web Logic 9 and above, Oracle 9 SQL and PL/SQL programming, SOAP/XML and Web services, HTML, Java Script, Style sheets. Knowledge in Image processing Adobe Photoshop, MS Flash and Fireworks will also be an added advantage. A passion for core programming and competency in designing software solutions based on business requirements are desired traits.
