Job Description

Description

1) Develop software application used to test hard discs for Science Park Design Reliability.
2) Maintain software to support factory for the ongoing reliability testing for Science Park products.
3) Work with US counterparts to incorporate new testing methodologies and perform software integration.
4) Understand customer requirements and incorporate customer unique tests into test algorithm.

Qualifications
1) Degree in Engineering with at least 3 years of working experience.
2) Engineering diploma holders with at least 5 years of relevant working experience will be considered.
3) Proficient in C++ and Java programming. Strong interest in software programming.
4) Disc drive knowledge and disc drive test experience would be an added advantage.
5) Strong team player and goal achiever.

Staff Engineer/ Senior Engineer, Software Test

Job Description

1) Responsible for cleanroom software development for equipment support during launch and volume requirements
2) Responsible for documenting of software revision for assembly and test processes.
3) Support yield/cycle time/uptime improvements efforts to meet the launch requirements.
4) Support cost and test time reduction efforts to meet product cost and test time requirements at launch
5) Software qualification and implementation to improve product performance and yield improvement.
6) Set up process controls systems for new products being launched.
7) Support SBR / evaluations to support alternate supplier qualification, yield and product improvements


Qualifications
1) Master or BEE (3 - 4 yrs), Dip EE ( 8 - 10 yrs ) experiences
2) 2 - 3 yrs of experience in new product launches ( disk drives ).
3) 4 - 5 yrs of experience in disk drive manufacturing ( preferably Test Process Engineering )
4) Essential knowledges in software programming e.g. Borland C++,Visual C++, .NET, Visual Basic, IAI programming
5) Knowledge in Six Sigma / DFSS will be advantageous
