(Senior) R&D Engineer - Hydrodynamics
Responsibilities may include:
Modeling and performing computer simulations for marine structures
Developing a stand-alone computer code for force & motion predication for offshore structures based on computational fluid dynamics
Designing and analyzing floating and submerged systems in ocean/wave conditions
Innovative product development including conceptualization and prototyping
Requirements:
Background: Degree/Master/PhD in one or more of the following:
- Hydraulics or Hydrodynamics
- Mechanical Engineering (fluid mechanics related)
- Naval Architecture
- Offshore Engineering
Experience: Preferably at least 3 years of relevant experience
Computer Skills: - CAD/CAM e.g. SoildWorks/SolidEdge/ProE/AutoCAD
- FEA and CFD e.g. NASTRAN, ANSYS, COSMOS, FLUENT
- Code Developing Tools e.g. MathLab/MathCAD and C++/Fortran
Creativity, high self-motivation, quick learner, keen interest in applied engineering, and hands-on capability.
