Position: Mechanical Design Engineer (with ASME "U" stamp code of pressure vessel or related experience)

SME500 Engineering Company manufacturing and providing custom fabricated cooling systems. Our customers are from Marine / Shipyards / Engineering / Electrical / Manufacturing / Oil & Gas industries.
Design Engineer (with ASME U or higher code experience)

Work Location: Singapore

Responsibilities:
Plan, manage and execute designs on projects, typically from concept through to completion and manage design changes during the construction stage
Ensure compliance with the relevant design codes and specifications
Coordinate with various parties / departments to ensure accuracy and latest issue of design and drawings prior to fabrication and installation
Coordinate design changes and manage ISO documentation relating to design
Attend meetings with customers to discuss on their requirements in new projects and/or project proposals
Research and develop new ideas and concept to enhance company’s performance and competitiveness in the field of Heat Exchangers
Supervise and lead the drafting team in performing calculations and other design related work
Requirements:
Min Bachelor Degree in Mechanical/Marine/Oil/Chemical/Heat Engineering
Min 1-3 years of pressure vessel design experience
Knowledge of Compressor or PVelite, or other pressure vessel design tools.
Knowledge of Autocad/Solid Edge, MS Office and ERP(SAP or other)
Ability to work under pressure and tight schedule
Highly organized and able to work independently
Team player
Fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
