We are looking for new Medical Technologist who will be assisting the intra-operation monitoring during spine surgery.
Before signing the official contract, we will offer 1-3 months training, and salary is provided during training period.
Job Description
1 JOB PURPOSE
The jobholder carries out intra-operative monitoring procedures; monitor neurological function of patients during spine instrumentation procedures and assists the neurophysiologist in specialized procedures in accordance with the established standards of care and practice.
2 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
2.1.1 Fit monitor system into the operating room.
2.1.2 Perform procedures before operation.
2.1.3 Monitor function parameters during operation.
2.1.4 Assist in interpretation of recording.
2.1.5 Assist in reducing the risk of mistakes in procedures.
2.1.6 Display compassion, positive and caring attitude towards patients, internal and external clients.
2.1.7 Demonstrate proper use and care of equipment.
2.1.8 Demonstrate proper and economical usage of consumables and supplies.
2.1.9 Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
3 JOB PRE-REQUISITE
3.1 Degree in Clinical Medicine/Life Science/Biomedicine/bioengineering and with related working experience.
OR
3.2 Diploma in Clinical Medicine /Medical Technology/Biotechnology with related working experience.
