IC Product Test Development Engineer
Summary:
The candidate must have experience with industry standard Automated Test Equipment – Teradyne, Catalyst, J750, FLEX, LTX-CX & ASL 1000 preferred, Strong understanding of ATE Test Programming principles, preferably with experience in RF testing. Strong PCB Hardware design knowledge & RF signal process trouble shooting skills. Strong test Software development experience & skills, including knowledge of C/C++, VB, MCU Assembly Language, PERL etc

Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for overseeing product reliability stresses as well as new package qualification stresses and test results

2. Responsible for “Technical Product Knowledge” required to guide and support subcontractor front line factory Test Engineers

3. Support production volume ramp from new product transfers in Asia test supplier sites

4. Work closely with Manufacturing Subcontractors as well Supplier Management Team in resolving product testing issues

5. Track and report monthly and quarterly test yields to ensue conformance to planned targets

6. Evaluate and manage product disposition when yield variances are reported

7. Support implementation of SAP Engineering functions for International sites

8. Exceed quality standards to provide best-in-class product quality

9. Provide remote debug and technical support to offshore factory sites

10. Perform yield analysis and contribute to test process improvements

11. Test development duties include manage and support Test development for new product attaining low cost test solution and high test coverage

12. Tester and Handler solution platform migration and correlation to attain low test cost and address test setup capacity constraints




Qualifications:
1. Master degree in EE or Computer Engineering
2. 8+ years of direct work experience in a semiconductor environment preferably as a Test development Engineer and/or Product Engineer
3. Strong experience/knowledge in new product characterization and qualification
4. Advanced Bench Equipment Skills/ IC Application knowledge
5. Advanced knowledge of IC design simulation tools
6. Advanced knowledge of statistical method and process control
7. Excellent communication skills as well as detail-oriented work ethic
8. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement process enhancements and improved efficiencies
