Title: SQA Engineer
Job Summary:
Individual contributor who works with SQA team members to ensure successful, timely and good quality product release.
Skills Required:
Strong knowledge in SQA methodology
Extensive experience in testing web based applications
Good understanding of software development life cycle including agile methodology
Working experience with Red Hat Linux and MS Windows Server 2003 & 2008
Experience with MS SQL Server and Oracle
Familiarity with security testing
Effective defect writing skills
Familiarity with VMware
Good communication and presentation skills
Skills Desired:
Experience in content management systems
Familiarity with Mantis defect tracking system
Familiarity with Open Source test automation tools, like TestLink and Selenium
Familiarity with MS Exchange Server
Knowledge of Japanese is additional plus
Responsibilities:
Take ownership of the functional feature testing of DocuShare
Contribute to the test plan – test approach and time estimation
Review DocuShare documentation including the PRD
Develop and document test cases in the TestLink
Perform build installations in Unix environments
Execute manual and automated tests and report test results
Conduct root cause analysis of the product defects
Maintain equipment in the SQA lab
Education/Experience:
BS or MS in Computer Science or related technical discipline, and more than 4 years of working experience as an SQA professional
