TECHNICIAN POSITIONS AVAILABLE In the Micro/Nano Fabrication Core at the MechanoBiology Institute (MBI) there is a need for support in microfabrication, specifically in moulding of chips and surfaces using elastomers, such as PDMS, and other materials. Furthermore there is a need for a cleanroom technician to make microdevices and take care of equipment. This Core group supports research groups with a number of different devices for various biological experiments. POSITION 1 Tasks - PDMS and other material chip moulding - chemical surface modification - protein stamping with PDMS structures - maintenance and procurement of equipment and consumables
Qualifications - minimum PolyTech graduate in engineering or Bachelors in physics, engineering - experience with the PDMS desirable, but not necessary - cleanroom experience desirable, but not necessary
POSITION 2 Tasks - fabricating microdevices - optimizing fabrication procedures - take care of a number of equipment inside the cleanroom - train students and staff on equipment - maintenance and procurement of equipment and consumables for the cleanroom
Qualifications - minimum PolyTech graduate in engineering or Bachelors in physics, engineering - experience with basic cleanroom equipment (mask aligner, spin coater, DRIE)
