CHINA MARKET RESEARCH INTERN
(LOCATION: GATEWAY PLAZA, 152 BEACH ROAD)


DaVita Inc., a US Fortune 500 company, is a leading provider of kidney care in the United States, delivering dialysis services to patients with chronic kidney failure and end stage renal disease. As of March 31, 2012, DaVita operated or provided administrative services at 1,841 outpatient dialysis centers located in the United States serving approximately 145,000 patients.

DaVita has recently extended its operations internationally, including the Asia-Pacific region.

THE ROLE:
Assist in carrying out demographic and healthcare statistics related secondary research (i.e. internet based research) of the Chinese market
Research will primarily involve familiarizing oneself with Chinese government websites at both the Central and provincial levels
Guidance will be provided regarding direction the research must proceed in
Work will be short-term in nature, ranging from a few days to a few weeks as the needs may be
Candidate will be required to initially work on-site at 152 Beach Road – later arrangements can be made to work off-site
Candidate should possess their own laptop and the required software to be able to conduct research online

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Undergraduate / graduate student or recent graduate
Preferred degrees: business, economics, healthcare, mathematics / science / engineering
Excellent computer skills especially MS Excel and Powerpoint
Native speaker / reader of Simplified Chinese
Ability to communicate clearly in English
Preference will be given to candidates who have grown up in Mainland China
