core development team of the new generation genome browser. The job

You are passionate, curious, independent, intrinsically motivated, and
driven to deliver. You love coding and all the facets of the
development process. You are excited about big data, have good social
and communication skills, and the ability to work as a part of larger
team.
You will be responsible for developing, deploying and updating code,
as well as analyzing related data.
You are well-versed ideally in Python and Django , as well as HTML5,
CSS, Javascript (jQuery), and MySQL/MongoDB. Previous web app
development experience would give you massive bonus points – as would
hands-on exposure to API design, cloud computing, and Linux system
administration.
This position is open both to (very talented) fresh graduates as well
as experienced developers. More experienced candidates will be
considered for a position of Lead Software Developer.
Requirements:
Solid web and software development background.
Demonstrated proficiency and fluency ideally in Python and Django, HTML5, CSS, Javascript (jQuery), JSON,
AJAX, and databases (MySQL, MongoDB).
Solid communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Passion for genomic data mining and analysis.
Getting things done.
