I have found all biologies obey following rules . And all things obey following rules are biologies.
Rules: 1. Fetch materials and energy from outside world. 2. Reproduce themselves.
We can explain all behaviors of biologies and societies by using the above rules. And these rules can explain "Where life come from" also!
Where life come from: 1. In the nature world, there are many kinds of materials contacting each other, having physical and chemical reaction with each other. 2. There are many new materials generated and disappeared all the time. 3. Occasionally, there are some special materials be generated: they can attract materials around them and make a copy of them.
The special materials mentioned above are the simplest life and ancestors of all biologies. The process mentioned above are occuring all the time and never stop.
I think the above definitions and descriptions of biologies are very important breakthough on understanding life and where it come from.
