Story of a Singapore-born Cardiologist Artist"
The speaker, Dr Lim Yean Ling is an outstanding doctor, born in Singapore, trained in Australia and worked in both the east and west, and a rare talent who excels in both arts and science.
So what attributed to the success of a doctor who made pioneering contributions to Singapore, Australia and China, and at the same time able to become the youngest Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) to helm the leadership of his alma mater as the Chairman of the Board?
How has the arts helped hone his medical skills?
How has being a Singaporean be an advantage for him?
