Job Description:
We are looking for a key role, Deep Learning Computer Vision Engineer and Scientist, in our Perception team in IIM’s Singapore R&D office.
What you’ll do:
Improve the accuracy and robustness of our facial detection and recognition algorithm
Designing, training and deploying neural networks for complex computer vision problems
Keeping up with recent AI research results and implementing/improving on winning DNN algorithms for production use (Only knowing how to use open source code is not good enough)
Help build scalable programs that standardize information flow and increase operational capacity
Be part of a close-knit engineering team ships new code every day
What you’ll need:
Good programming skill in C++
Experience with Python would be great
Strong knowledge in object-oriented programming
Strong applied experience with Deep Learning frameworks like Caffe, MXNet or PyTorch
Strong understanding of Deep Learning methodology and math
Strong intuition for applying Deep Learning to practical algorithms
Familiarity with computer vision libraries like OpenCV preferred
Experience with traditional computer vision methods is a bonus
Experience with ROS would be great
Experience with Linux would be great
Having good results on vision-related Kaggle competition is a bonus
