情况如下:
机械表,买了一年半,warranty两年,正常戴,没有丢过在地上,有时候会不小心碰到桌子。刮痕是难免的,有时候会慢五分钟。想在warranty expire前拿去做一下servicing看看有没有改进。六月22号拿去的,告诉我的是2-4周就能拿回来。
Service centre的回馈是,“your watch case has received a shock/impact and this is due to the knocks which resulted to the case and case-back dented. As such, your case is not cover under warranty and a complete service is recommended to restore your watch to a full working condition.” 和 “Montblanc guarantees the quality of the materials, faultless workmanship and flawless operation as per stated on the Service Guide (Watches). However, this warranty does not apply to damage resulting from accident, improper use (knocks, dents, crushing), dismantling or repair by anyone other than an authorized Montblanc repair specialist, to watches which have had their identification numbers removed or have been otherwise defaced or altered, or to normal wear and tear. ”价格为$915。
周末的时候我阅读了一下买手表时附带的Service Card,有关的条例只是:“Montblanc guarantees the quality of the materials, faultless workmanship and flawless operation. Nevertheless, should your Montblanc watch prove defective within two years after the date of purchase, Montblanc Inc. will repair or replace any defective watch or part free of charge subject only to Montblanc's right to charge for shipping costs.” 也没有明确指明哪些是exclusions。
我真心保护的很好,他们非要说是我掉过地上,导致表的机芯出现问题导致时间误差。如果现在不做彻底的修理,以后越来越有问题。
在我看来,没有明确写black & white的就是deemed inclusive在它的package里了。到底应该怎样定义defects。到底这个修理费用是不是该被waived & covered under warranty,warranty究竟包括哪些东西,是不是他们当初卖给我的就是次品。我也没法判断。更没预料到会有这样的问题。
