真是，本地报道的标题充满了主观偏见。
Straits Times的报道应该是基于New York Daily News报道基础上的再创作吧。看后三段，还特意把近期相关案例“贴心”地总结了一下罗列在一起，主观偏见的立场不要太明显。
不知道本地的报纸是否要遵循一定的法律指导，这是否是国籍歧视，边界在哪里。

我都没有看到最后的重心三段，还是你细心
因为之前看到纽约报纸的报道，看到新加坡海峡时报的开始段我就心里万马蹦腾，根本没有耐心看到最后。
最后三段真的是把作者的用意彰显无遗。真的是比我想象得还要糟糕。
关于您提出的国籍歧视问题，新加坡的法律应该没有对‘来源国’这个概念加以保护。所以，本地的房东才有胆量在广告里说，中国人不租，印度人不租之类的在西方国家是完全犯法的话。真的所谓是上梁不正，下梁歪。
下面是美国1968年就通过的 ‘Fair Housing Act’ (公平住房立法)，Wikipedia summary 里面第一段就明确写出，基于种族，信仰，来源国等等，在租房买卖房歧视的，就是犯法。第三段更是毫无含糊地写出了，住房广告如果有基于对来源国（和其他种类）的歧视，也是犯法。
