Basically Mooter Media (www.mootermedia.com), an Australian media firm, is hiring someone with suitable technical background, work experience, and a strong bilinguality in Madanrin/English, to run the show in Beijing office.
The person will oversee a programme of work to develop Mooter's proprietary software.
He/she is also responsible for the infrastructure and IT operations of China office, the hosting sites in China and elsewhere in the world as required.
He/she will manage a team of initially 6 engineers and then growing steadily over time.
He/she will work closely with
1. CIO
2. Vice President, Engineering
3. Solution Architect
4. Infrastructure P.M.
5. China office manager, non-engineering staff for general operations
The ideal candidate should also,
1. have high-level literacy in English, written and oral
2. have track record of managing senior software engineers, office IT and web operations
3. have some exposure to business intelligence tools, Pentaho desirable.
