顺便问一下,这个HLE是需要先申请才能进入选房子买房子程序吗?
之前碰过一个中介,热情地要在带我们看房之前就帮我们申请HLE,我们就觉得有点莫名,因为没有任何中介向我们提过这个事情。

booking (1000 S$)的时候不需要HLE. 但是签option to purchase的时候需要。通常这中间有2个礼拜。不过现在有时候都是直接签option to purchase.所以如果你没有hle就不能签。。。
另外万一你的loan limit太少,到时候不能买的话,你的1000快就不见了。而且你的中介也白忙活了。
有一点不明白,为什么你不问清楚你的agent? 作为买家,如果你都不好意思跟你的中介沟通,那么你以后可能就有大麻烦。。

Buyers need to obtain an HDB Loan Eligibility Letter
With effect from 1 Jan 2007, flat buyers who intend to obtain an HDB loan will need to apply for an HDB Loan Eligibility (HLE) Letter before they can commit to a flat purchase. The HLE letter (which is valid for 3 months from date of issue) must be obtained before buyers exercise the OTP for the flat. Buyers are advised to have the HLE letter even before they look for a flat.

拿到HLE后要买新的买新的,要买旧的买旧的,没有限制。
