It is a triskaivalent vaccine, meaning that it contains thirteen serotypes of pneumococcus (1, 3, 4, 5, 6A, 6B, 7F, 9V, 14, 18C, 19A, 19F, 23F) which are conjugated to a carrier protein. 新加坡是共和联邦国家，所以新加坡卫生部也推荐打3针，也不排除政府要降低资助成本。
但儿医说应该打4针，预防率比较高，也不排除儿医和药商有联盟
